Since the spring semester ended, I have had a nice and easy time spent in a relaxed mood. I can finally work full time on my research for the next couple of weeks.
I also went for coffee with my colleagues a couple of times, which made me very happy because I now have people to talk with about various topics.
One of my New Year’s resolutions, applying for research funding, has been done. I sent my CV, a description of the content, and an essay of my future plan. Writing future plans is often required in a work environment, but it always bothers me because a future vision tends to be too vague and hard to be specific, as many factors can change the direction of life.
I also started making initial contact with some potential locations that I will investigate over the next two years. I am now at the next stage, where I need to decide on the specific locations and methods for submitting the ethics applications, which will be the first hurdle of my project.
