Cherry blossom viewing

Having dinner with my father at a Japanese restaurant, Innsyoutei in Ueno Park in Tokyo, I enjoyed cherry blossom viewing from the window. The cherry blossom petals were fluttering in the wind.

I sipped shochu, and he had sake. My father and I do not drink much, but we had more than usual because the illuminated cherry trees were beautiful and made our seats special.

In this season, we used to go for a walk around the Imperial Palace to enjoy the cherry blossom when I was in my twenties, and he was in his sixties, but now he is in his seventies. He deserves sake and seasonal cuisine with a view of the row of cherry trees.
